In agreement with the OBCE and Ministry of Cooperation and Development of the Kingdom of Belgium, CHAMBER.BE was founded in 2000 as the Chamber of Commerce of Belgium-Luxembourg for Southeast Europe. Milan Jezic von Gesseneck was one of the founders and the first president. President Jezic von Gesseneck, Belgian national, engineer by qualification, has brought to the CHAMBER.BE headquarters in Brussels over 35 years of experience in development, transfer of technology, competitiveness and applied research and innovation. CHAMBER.BE continued its strong development under the privileged patronage of Baron Prof. Dr. Ir. Paul De Meester, as President of the Chamber Advisory and Patronage Board. Established as a platform for the exchange of ideas, highest-level policy- and strategy-building, CHAMBER.BE rapidly evolved into a pragmatic action-driven player involved in a rich spectrum of projects between its member and associated states including socio-economic policy, trade, energy, law, education and many more.
